You've seen the shows, now why not be part of them. Croydon Stagers are holding their next Open Auditions on Tuesday 3rd June at St Johns The Evangelist, Sylvan Road, Upper Norwood. We are always on the lookout for new members and we would love you to join us.
Details of the audition process are below.
There are three types of membership. They are:
Full Performing Membership
Full membership costs £50 per year, and you will also be required to pay a £30 show fee for each show you perform in. This helps to cover the cost of the insurance which is required to perform in a professional venue.
To join you will be required to attend an open audition. There are three parts to the audition. These are:
- Read a piece of dialogue - there will be several available which you can choose from.
- Sing a song of your choosing - we will provide a pianist, you will need to supply the sheet music.
- Dance / Movement audition - This will be done in groups and you will be taught a short piece of dance/movement at the audition.

Non-Performing Membership
If you don't wish to tread the boards and perform with us there is still a place for you in the society.
We are always on the lookout for people who are willing to help backstage in various roles. So whether it is moving set backstage, or helping with props, makeup, front of house or even Stage Managing, lighting or Sound we would love to hear from you.
This level of membership costs just £10 a year and pays for copies of the newsletter to be sent to you. Including full details of up and coming shows and any social events that are being organised.

Honorary Membership
If you would just like to receive advance notice of our forthcoming productions, and enjoy the benefits of priority booking through our newsletter - Stagerpage - then Honorary Membership is for you at a cost of only £5 per year.
Alternatively, for free, you can join our mailing list for advance notice of shows only.
For Honorary membership please send a cheque or postal order for £5 payable to Croydon Stagers to our address on the Contacts page.
