Join Us

If you would like to join Croydon Stagers, please fill out and submit the application form below, then wait for a response from the Membership Secretary. Please note that If you wish to perform with the company you will be required to attend an audition.

If you are a currently a member, you can also use this form to update your details. Please select the appropriate 'Renewing' value from the Membership Type box and complete all change information. You may enter 'SAME' for required fields that are unchanged, but an email address is required.

Full & Student Performing Membership
Full membership costs £50 per year (students £25), and you will also be required to pay a £30 show fee for each major production you perform in. This helps to cover the cost of the insurance which is required to perform in a professional venue.

As mentioned above, to join you will be required to attend an audition. There are three parts to this:

Read a piece of dialogue - there will be several available to choose from.
Sing a song of your choice - we will provide a pianist, you will need to supply the sheet music. You can sing acapella if you wish.
Dance / Movement audition - Dancers will be required to learn and demonstrate short piece of dance / movement.
An Interview by the panel

Non-Performing (Associate) Membership
If you don't wish to tread the boards and perform with us there is still a place for you in the society.
We are always on the lookout for people who are willing to help backstage in various roles. So whether working on the set, helping with props, makeup, front of house, stage management, lighting or sound we would very much like to hear from you.
This level of membership costs just £10 a year.

Note
We are not able to audition anyone under the age of 16 for membership. We do from time-to-time audition under 16s for specific productions with the full support & consent of a parent or guardian. If you wish to audition your child for an applicable show or performance, do not use this form. Instead, please contact us by clicking here.
